Canopy Growth today announced the relaunch of its Tweed brand in Germany's medical cannabis market, anchored by three strains drawn from the recently acquired MTL Cannabis portfolio: Pablo's Revenge, Dante'z Inferno and Frost'd Flakes. The launch marks the first international product release to come out of the MTL acquisition, putting MTL's award-winning genetics in front of European patients.
Up to five additional MTL-derived strains are expected to follow in June 2026, building out the Tweed range available to physicians and patients. The timing is deliberate: Germany's medical cannabis market approached roughly $1 billion in annual value in 2025 and remains one of the fastest-growing in the world following recent reforms.
"This relaunch reflects the strength of what we've built," said Luc Mongeau, Chief Executive Officer, tying the move to Canopy's commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality cannabis for physician prescription and patient care across its international medical footprint.
